I covered this earlier in the "Coming Out" on the National Day of Reason post, but I thought it best to make a separate post to specifically request people’s participation.
This Thursday the Left Hemispheres crew will be posting our “Coming Out” billboards as a means to assert ourselves as non-believers and to protest the National Day of Prayer. We are asking anyone who would like to participate to make a billboard at the Freedom From Religion Campaign’s “Out of the Closet” website at http://ffrf.org/out/. All you need is a few minutes, a picture of yourself and something to say. Once you complete your billboard request it will take several minutes for FFRF to email you back which will include various options to post it on social media and an HTML code. If you would like us to add your billboard to our post then please email us via our Contact page or DM Steve via Twitter @uzh77. Send us your HTML code and we will include you on our post. The more the merrier. Besides, Thursday is also Cinco de Mayo and you don’t want the fundie theists to take that over as well, do you?
There are multiple categories to choose from: Atheist, Agnostic, Freethinker, Humanist, Skeptic, Unbeliever, Infidel, Pastafarian, Nontheist, Heretic, Rationalist, and Secularist.
Below is my billboard and an example of what the HTML code will look like. Don’t worry, you can’t miss the HTML code on the FRFF page.
