-We have been a bit preoccupied with the “911 Cross” debate and the subsequent Christian/Atheist venom. My two cents: The American Atheists have no shortage of things to file lawsuits about. American culture is saturated with government supported religious iconography. This particular event was not a Christian attempt to force theology on anyone. It was just an aspect of the healing process for those who were traumatized by the 911 attacks. It is a comfort totem. This is not the part of Christianity that most of us get upset about. This is way beyond attacking Christmas in October. As for the Christians spitting death threats on Fox News Facebook and wishing for the rape and torture of non-believers for daring to challenge their privileged status in practically every aspect of American life, well...
