Random Quotes of Dangerous Christian Nonsense: Bryan Fisher

The following is taken from the Values Voter Summit in Washington D.C. this weekend. This is a “who’s who?“ of right-wing religious fanatics. I would say “right-wing Christian fanatics,” but Mitt Romney was there. Haven’t you heard? Mormonism isn’t Christianity. It’s a cult. Not that Christianity isn’t. Nooo...of course not.

“I submit to you that not a single one of our unalienable rights will be safe in the hands of a President who believes that we evolved from slime and we are descendants of apes and baboons.”

He then continues with the typical and tired lie of accusing secularism of the greatest crimes against humanity in the 20th century. These accusations have been proven false so many times I can barely stand to bring it up. These lies are indicative how little they understand history and their willful ignorance of anything that isn’t their brand of fascist Christian hate.

It was pretty obvious that everything out of his mouth is a lie - His lips were moving.

Seriously, though, people like him frighten me about the future of the species sometimes.
