God & Battered Person Syndrome

I may have to research and expand on this.

"You are worthless without him. You need him in your life. You are unlovable and unworthy of love. You are evil and nothing you can ever do is good enough to be accepted by him. But he will love you, anyway, despite your state of unloveability, worthlessness, and evilness. Obey everything he says to do. He knows what is best for you, despite any plans, hopes, or dreams you have of your own that is not part of how he thinks you need to behave and what he thinks you should do with you life. You need to submit completely to his will."

When will Christians realize that their doctrine they adhere to, that their mindset, and everything they think about their lives is exactly what the DSM-IV classifies as 'battered wife syndrome'?

Oh, yeah, the God-worshipper relationship is basically a disfunctional one.

After the flood in Genesis, God makes a covenant never to destroy the world by flood again. He even puts a rainbow in the sky like he's coming home with flowers. [in Barry White voice] "I'm sorry baby. I know I killed everybody. I just get so mad sometimes. You know I love you, right?"

If god was real and in physical manifestation he'd be locked up - either in prison or an insane asylum, or perhaps in an asylum for the criminally insane.
The Christian God is irrefutably evil.
