Random Quotes of Pat Robertson's Tired & Confusing Opinion of Science

“God created the world; the laws of nature were created by God. True science tries to find out what God put in the world. The trouble is where scientists speculate about theology and they don’t know what they’re talking about because they weren’t there. They can’t speculate about the origins of life because they weren’t there. If they tell you observable phenomenon then we ought to believe them, and I tell you if you find a geologist who tells you something existed 300 million years ago then you better believe them because he knows what he’s talking about. So we don’t want wanna have our religious theory go with flat earth.”

Hmm. Where to begin? This is so stupid I don’t know why I bother. I guess because we keep hearing piss-poor comments and “arguments” like this.
God created the world; the laws of nature were created by God.”
Begging the Question.
"True science tries to find out what God put in the world.”
“True science” cares not for your god or religion. It operates and works just fine without it. In fact—to date—not a single shred of evidence of a supernatural component to the universe has been provided for evaluation or discovered.
"The trouble is where scientists speculate about theology and they don’t know what they’re talking about because they weren’t there. They can’t speculate about the origins of life because they weren’t there.
a) Scientists do not speculate about theology. Theology is the logical study and philosophy of a completely unsupported premise. Scientists can test the claims of theology and they have. Again, not a single assertion based on faith has ever been confirmed,

 b) Conversely, scientists can and do speculate about the origins of life because we have a valid framework within biology to make educated speculations, hypothesis, models, theories, etc. All theists have is an outdated book which is incongruent on every claim about the nature of the universe,

c) One can’t make any claim to knowledge if “they weren’t there?” Tell me Pat and every other Christian in the world that holds this belief: Did you see an empty tomb?
“If they tell you observable phenomenon then we ought to believe them, and I tell you if you find a geologist who tells you something existed 300 million years ago then you better believe them because he knows what he’s talking about.”
 Wait…I thought just he said…
“…We don’t want wanna have our religious theory go with flat earth.”
 Too late.

Random Quotes From a Charlatan: Pat Robertson

In a perfect example that Pat Robertson is a lying charlatan; he admonishes a caller who wondered why they weren’t healed after praying with Pat.

“You don’t believe that it’s real and you say ‘Well it’s a wonderful dream’, but you didn’t receive it. You got to receive it and stand on it, take it and praise God for it. This is mine! And you can ask it back. I mean, this may be Satanic and the things come back on you. They come back. You need to rebuke it and command it to leave you. Permanently!”
First, this statement barely makes any sense. I had to listen to it multiple times to transcribe just this little bit. Second, it is the perfect example of “you just don’t believe hard enough” to deflect the false claims of a cheat. It is an insult after the scam.

Sunday Morning Hate ~ Pat Robertson

Everyone has 2011 predictions (mine is a stigmata reality show - just wait and see), but Pat Robertson gets his prophecy straight from the LORD. Pay strict attention to the LORD's advice on reducing your personal debt in anticipation of economic hardship. Thanks for the warning Pat...I mean God. Now could you say a few words on how to keep cancer cells from metastasizing? Yes I see, you're very busy. OK, maybe later then?

Monday Morning Stupid Quotes - Pat Robertson

"Just like what Nazi Germany did to the Jews, so liberal America is now doing to the evangelical Christians. It's no different. It is the same thing. It is happening all over again. It is the Democratic Congress, the liberal-based media and the homosexuals who want to destroy the Christians. Wholesale abuse and discrimination and the worst bigotry directed toward any group in America today. More terrible than anything suffered by any minority in history." –Pat Robertson

"(T)he feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women. It is about a socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism and become lesbians." –Pat Robertson

"I'd like to say to the good citizens of Dover: If there is a disaster in your area, don't turn to God, you just rejected him from your city. And don't wonder why he hasn't helped you when problems begin, if they begin. I'm not saying they will, but if they do, just remember, you just voted God out of your city. And if that's the case, don't ask for his help because he might not be there." -Pat Robertson, after a federal trial led to the removal of the members of the school board who instituted an Intelligent Design policy in Dover, PA.

"It may be a blessing in disguise. ... Something happened a long time ago in Haiti, and people might not want to talk about it. Haitians were originally under the heel of the French. You know, Napoleon the third, or whatever. And they got together and swore a pact to the devil. They said, we will serve you if you will get us free from the French. True story. And so, the devil said, okay it's a deal. Ever since they have been cursed by one thing after the other." –Pat Robertson, on the earthquake in Haiti - Jan. 13, 2010

“Many of those people involved in Adolf Hitler were Satanists, many were homosexuals - the two things seem to go together.''-Pat Robertson There is no such thing as separation of church and state in the Constitution. It is a lie of the Left and we are not going to take it anymore.-- Pat Robertson, address to his American Center for Law and Justice, November, 1993

"We have a court that has essentially stuck its finger in God's eye. We have insulted God at the highest levels of our government. Then, we say, 'Why does this happen?' It is happening because God Almighty is lifting His protection from us".-- Pat Robertson -Thursday, September 13, 2001
